Timken (TKR) Tops Q1 EPS by 12c, Raises FY EPS Guidance

Timken (NYSE: TKR) reported Q1 EPS of $0.55, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $703.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $649.7 million.

GUIDANCE:

Timken sees FY2017 EPS of $2.35-$2.45, versus the consensus of $2.15.

• The company now expects 2017 revenue to be up 5 to 6 percent in total versus 2016
