Ingersoll-Rand (IR) Tops Q3 EPS by 12c; Raises Outlook

Ingersoll-Rand (NYSE: IR) reported Q3 EPS of $1.41, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $1.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.57 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.56 billion.
GUIDANCE:
Ingersoll-Rand sees FY2016 adj-EPS of $4.17-$4.22, versus the consensus of $4.09.
