Staples (SPLS) Misses Q4 EPS by 2; Comps Fell 5%

Staples (NASDAQ: SPLS) reported Q4 EPS of $0.26, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.41 billion.
North American comps fell 5 percent.
GUIDANCE:
Staples sees Q1 2016 EPS of $0.16-$0.18, versus the consensus of $0.17.
