Tenet Healthcare (NYSE: THC) reported Q4 EPS of $0.35, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.34. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.03 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.82 billion.
GUIDANCE:
Tenet Healthcare sees Q1 2016 EPS of $0.05-$0.54, versus the consensus of $0.56. Tenet Healthcare sees Q1 2016 revenue of $4.7-4.9 billion, versus the consensus of $4.72 billion.
Tenet Healthcare sees FY2016 EPS of $1.18-$2.25, versus the consensus of $2.15. Tenet Healthcare sees FY2016 revenue of $18.8-19.2 billion, versus the consensus of $19.1 billion.
"We delivered Adjusted EBITDA at the midpoint of our Outlook for the fourth quarter and are on a path to deliver strong growth in Adjusted EBITDA and improved Adjusted Free Cash Flow in 2016,” said Trevor Fetter, chairman and chief executive officer. “Similar to our results in the third quarter, we experienced pressure on lower acuity inpatient hospital admissions and continued to drive increases in higher-acuity admissions.
