Thomson Reuters (TRI) Tops Q4 EPS by 7c; Adds $1.5B to Buyback Plan

Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI) reported Q4 EPS of $0.65, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.58. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.15 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.17 billion.
Today, the company announced that it plans to repurchase up to an additional $1.5 billion of its shares as it has essentially completed its third $1 billion program announced in May 2015.
