bluebird bio (NASDAQ: BLUE) reported Q3 EPS of ($1.18), $0.24 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.94). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.32 million versus the consensus estimate of $5.2 million.

Cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities as of September 30, 2015 were $901.7 million, compared to $492.0 million as of December 31, 2014, an increase of $409.7 million, which was primarily driven by the June 2015 equity financing.
