American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) Tops Q2 EPS by 3c;Comps Rose 11%

American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO) reported Q2 EPS of $0.17, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $797 million versus the consensus estimate of $769.56 million.

Consolidated comparable sales increased 11%, compared to a 7% decrease last year.

American Eagle Outfitters sees Q3 2015 EPS of $0.28-$0.31, versus the consensus of $0.28.
