Amsurg (AMSG) Tops Q2 EPS by 13c, Raises FY Guidance

Amsurg (NASDAQ: AMSG) reported Q2 EPS of $0.97, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.84. Revenue for the quarter came in at $642 million versus the consensus estimate of $613.55 million.

Amsurg sees Q3 2015 EPS of $0.92-$0.95, versus the consensus of $0.89.

Amsurg sees FY2015 EPS of $3.52-$3.59, versus prior guidance of $3.31-$3.39 and the consensus of $3.35. Amsurg sees FY2015 revenue of $2.50-2.52 billion, versus the consensus of $2.46 billion.
