Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL) Tops Q1 EPS by 7c, Cuts FY15 EPS

Royal Caribbean Cruises (NYSE: RCL) reported Q1 EPS of $0.20, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.82 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.86 billion.

Royal Caribbean Cruises sees FY2015 EPS of $4.45-$4.65, versus the consensus of $4.75. The strengthening of the US Dollar and the increase in fuel prices have negatively impacted the full year by $0.36.

Royal Caribbean Cruises sees Q2 2015 EPS of $0.70, versus the consensus of $1.09.
