Michael Burry
Michael Burry was the founder of hedge fund Scion Capital, which he closed in 2088 to focus on personal investments.
Burry was made famous after being profiled in Michael Lewis' "The Big Short" in 2010, which focused on the behind the scene trades leading up to the financial meltdown.
Burry successfully predicted the collapse of the subprime mortgage market, and made bets accordingly.
Scion Capital showed returns of 489.34 percent between its November 1, 2000 inception and June 2008.
