Dune Capital, a private equity firm, was launched in 2004 as a spin-off of Soros Capital Management. The firm primarily invests in the public equity markets of the US and Western Europe. In addition, the firm manages a real estate opportunity fund. Dune Capital was founded by ex-Goldman Sachs partners Steven Mnuchin and Daniel Niedich.
