Compellent Technologies Takeover
Following news of a $27.50/share offer late last week, on December 13, 2010 Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) and Compellent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: CML) today announced that they have entered into an agreement for Dell to purchase Compellent for $27.75 per share in cash.
The deal is being valued at about $960 million, or about $820 million net of Compellent's cash. The transaction, which is subject to approval by Compellent's shareholders and customary closing conditions, is expected to close in early 2011...CONTINUE
