Legg Mason Capital Management http://www.lmcm.com/Bill Miller is the Chairman, Chief Investment Officer, and a Portfolio Manager at Legg Mason Capital Management Inc., a subsidiary of Legg Mason Inc. Mr. Miller currently manages the Legg Mason Value Trust (LMVTX) and Legg Mason Opportunity Trust (LMNOX) mutual funds. As manager of Legg Mason Value Trust, the fund outperformed the S&P 500 index for 15 consecutive years from 1991 to 2005. He has received numerous accolades for his management including being named "Fund Manager of the Decade" by Morningstar.com.

Mr. Miller co-managed the Legg Mason Value Trust since its inception in 1982 and assumed overall management of the fund in 1990. Prior to that, he was the Director of Research at Legg Mason from October 1981 through June 1985. Before joining Legg Mason in 1981, he served as Treasurer of the J.E. Baker Company. Mr. Miller earned his economics degree from Washington and Lee University where he graduated with honors in 1972.
