Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: ATI) and Ladish Co., Inc. (Nasdaq: LDSH) announced that they have entered into an agreement whereby Allegheny will acquire Ladish for $24.00 per share in cash and 0.4556 shares of ATI common stocl, or a total consideration valued at $778 million. The transaction is also valued at $48.00 per share.
The transaction, expected to be completed in early CY11, is subject to normal closing conditions.
