UPDATE: Hilliard Lyons Upgrades American Campus Communities (ACC) to Long-Term Buy

Hilliard Lyons upgraded American Campus Communities (NYSE: ACC) from Neutral to Long-Term Buy with a price target of $41.00.

Analyst Carol Kemple comments "ACC, like most REITs, has seen its share price decline recently. After seeing 4Q17 results and listening to ACC’s earnings call we feel better about the near-term and long-term outlook of the company. ACC had good success in 2017 with winning new on-campus development projects, and we expect that to continue. We are excited about the joint venture ACC expects to close on in 2Q18 and believe pricing will illustrate the value of ACC assets and its platform."
