SocGen Upgrades Anadarko (APC) to Buy

An analyst at Societe Generale upgraded shares of Anadarko Petroleum (NYSE: APC) in an intraday research note. The firm now rates the stock a Buy, up from Hold previously. SocGen now sees Anadarko shares rising to $82 over the next year, up from a prior target of $62.

Anadarko shares are up more than 6 percent to around $74.95 Monday afternoon.
