Goldman Sachs upgraded Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE) to Neutral with a price target of $5.60.

The firm notes that Yingli has the highest exposure to the China market, which they expect to becoming one of the biggest solar markets in coming years. They also expect the company could continue to gain market share in China due to its long-term cooperation with Chinese power developers and its good track record of operating in China. That said the firm is still concerned about high cost in-house polysilicon, asset-heavy vertical-integration business model, and risk /reward of its brand building strategy at the cost significant amount marketing and sale expense while the solar industry is getting more commoditized.
