Goldman Sachs upgraded Greenhill (NYSE: GHL) from Sell to Neutral with a price target of $49 (up from $36) following strong Q4 results.

The firm notes GHL has demonstrated consistency in advisory results via growth in private placement as well as non-deal based activity, while its backlog has also
improved on public data recently.

The firm raised 2012/2013 EPS to $2.40/$2.90 from $2.15/$2.75 on stronger revenues/improving expense ratios and introduce our 2014 EPS estimate of $3.40.
