Argus Upgrades Ameren Corp. (AEE) to Buy

Argus upgraded Ameren Corp. (NYSE: AEE) from Hold to Buy with a price target of $49.00.

The upgrade reflects an increase in 2015 and 2016 EPS estimates as well as the 8% year-to-date decline in the stock price. "We believe that Ameren’s fundamentals remain strong and that the pullback provides a favorable entry point," the analyst said.

The firm is raising 2015 EPS estimate to $2.65 from $2.60 and 2016 estimate to $2.75 from $2.70.
