Reports United Technologies (NYSE: UTX) Pratt & Whitney division is laying off approximately 300 full time salaried employees, with about 200 in Connecticut.
A P&W spokesperson said the company continued to monitor staffing levels, to make sure they're in-line with current business demand levels.
Note - UTX has approx. 199,000 employees, with P&W at about 36,000 worldwide.
