Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) sees significant weakness off the open. Shares down 5.6%. This could be related to the fake Putin account and other recent twitter snafus including Mnuchin.
UPDATE:
In addition to this, news that Fox News (@foxnews) hasn't tweeted to its 18.3 million followers since Nov. 8th, as a potential protest, is also said to be a reason for today's weakness.
Yesterday, Politico highlighted the Fox News Twitter boycott, saying it could be related to a group of demonstrators posting Tucker Carlson's home address on the social network.
Speculators could be selling Twitter on fears this could spread among conservatives (think NFL).
Shares are now down 7.2%.
