Symantec (SYMC) Near Session Lows on Intel McAfee Job Cuts

Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC) is moving to the lows of the session into the close following reports Intel's McAfee security division is laying off some staff.

The cuts could suggest the industry is experiencing greater-than-expected weakness.

Shares are down 1.61 percent to $17.74.
