SINA (SINA) Getting Pummeled... Again

December 19, 2011 9:52 AM EST
SINA Corporation (Nasdaq: SINA) is getting clobbered again early Monday. Shares are down 6.8 percent to $51.32.

Today's action reverses Friday's upside seen following news about regulation of the company's microblogging weibo service, which was widely anticipated.

On Friday, the company said the Beijing Municipal Government issued new rules on microblogging. The Rules, among other things, require users of microblogging services to register their identities with microblogging service providers.
