After getting brutalized over the past few sessions on reports of deaths tied to its popular energy drink, Monster Beverage (NASDAQ: MNST) is ramping higher Wednesday on short covering and dip buying.
In a statement last night, the company said, "neither the science nor the facts support the allegations that have been made. Monster reiterates that its products are and have always been safe."
Shares of Monster Beverage last traded at $46.55, up 13 percent. The stock was down 10 percent on Tuesday, 14 percent on Monday and down 5 straight sessions.
