After a 16 percent slide over the past two sessions, on worries about rare earth prices, Molycorp, Inc. (NYSE: MCP) is bouncing today. Shares are up 4 percent in early action.
The downside action over the past couple days came after an influential analyst at JPMorgan said he sees further downside in prices of the minerals. The analyst cited new Chinese export quotas for next year and rising production.
Molycorp is down 51 percent this year. The stock IPO'd in July, 2010 at $14.
