Expedia Inc. (NASDAQ: EXPE) is getting hit after-hours Thursday after rival Priceline.com (NASDAQ: PCLN) announced a definitive agreement to acquire KAYAK (NASDAQ: KYAK) in a stock and cash transaction worth $1.8 billion, or $40 per share.
Shares of EXPE last traded at $55.90, down 3.94 percent.
