Water Ways Technologies sets share consolidation for August 21
Water Ways Technologies Inc. (TSXV: WWT) announced that its share consolidation will take effect on August 21, 2025, after receiving final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
The consolidation will reduce outstanding common shares on a 10-to-1 basis, decreasing the total from 148,785,346 shares to approximately 14,878,537 shares. The company will continue trading under the symbol "WWT" on the TSXV following the consolidation.
Shareholders holding physical certificates or DRS statements will receive instructions from transfer agent Computershare Trust Company on exchanging their existing documentation for post-consolidation certificates. The new CUSIP and ISIN numbers will be 941188302 and CA9411883023, respectively.
The company also provided an update on the liquidation of its Israeli subsidiary, Irri-Al-Tal Ltd. Water Ways filed an application to cease operations of the subsidiary on October 1, 2024, as part of its strategic shift toward the Canadian market. The liquidation process is now expected to take approximately three years, extended from the initially anticipated five to twelve months due to delays in collecting receivables from international customers.
Water Ways stated that the subsidiary liquidation will not affect revenues and operations, which primarily come from its Canadian subsidiary, Heartnut Grove WWT Inc. The process also will not impact assets held directly by Water Ways or through its Canadian operations.
The Toronto-based company provides Israeli agriculture technology and water irrigation solutions to agricultural producers in Canada and the United States through its subsidiary operations.
