Oriental Rise Holdings approves 1-for-4 reverse stock split
Oriental Rise Holdings (NASDAQ: ORIS) announced that its shareholders approved a proposal on May 15, 2026, granting the board authority to consolidate ordinary shares at ratios ranging from 1-for-2 to 1-for-100.
The board subsequently approved a reverse stock split at a ratio of one ordinary share for every four ordinary shares held. Fractional shares resulting from the split will be rounded up to the next whole share.
The company stated the reverse split must be implemented within 180 days of the shareholder resolution. Oriental Rise Holdings indicated it will provide additional disclosure regarding the anticipated market effective date of the reverse split.
The shareholder approval was obtained through written consent from a majority of shareholders, according to the company's statement.
