Medicus Pharma Ltd. (NASDAQ: MDCX) announced a fifty-to-one consolidation of its common shares, set to take effect on October 12, 2026, with trading on The Nasdaq Capital Market beginning on a consolidated basis that same day.

The company stated the share consolidation is intended to increase the bid price of its common shares and regain compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid price requirement for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market.

Under the consolidation, every 50 common shares issued and outstanding will be automatically exchanged for one new common share. The company's name and ticker symbol, MDCX, will remain unchanged. The consolidated shares will carry a new CUSIP number of 58471K301 and a new ISIN of CA58471K3010.

Shareholders approved the consolidation at the company's 2026 Annual General and Special Meeting held on June 3, 2026, authorizing the board of directors to proceed at a ratio of up to fifty-to-one. The board subsequently approved the fifty-to-one ratio.

No fractional shares will be issued. Shareholders entitled to a fractional share will have their holdings rounded down to the next whole share, with cash paid in lieu of any fractional amount. The consolidation will not alter voting rights or any other rights or preferences of the common shares.

Shareholders holding shares through a broker or nominee will have their positions adjusted automatically and are not required to take further action.
