Chijet Motor implements 100-to-1 share consolidation on November 3
Chijet Motor Company Inc. (NASDAQ: CJET) announced it will implement a 100-to-1 share consolidation of its ordinary shares on November 3, 2025, according to a company statement.
The consolidation will convert every 100 existing shares into one new share with a par value of $0.3. Company shareholders approved the consolidation at their September 24 annual meeting, along with a proposed name change to Digital Currency X Technology Inc., pending regulatory approval from the Cayman Islands Registrar of Companies.
Trading of the consolidated shares on the Nasdaq Capital Market will begin November 3. The company's shares will receive a new CUSIP number G4465R 129 following the consolidation.
Shareholders holding shares through brokers or in book-entry form do not need to take action, as positions will be automatically adjusted. The consolidation affects all shareholders proportionally and does not change their percentage ownership in the company. Fractional shares will be rounded up to the nearest whole share.
Equiniti Trust Company serves as the exchange agent for the share consolidation process.
Chijet develops, manufactures and sells traditional fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Jilin, China, with an additional factory under construction in Yantai, China, dedicated to new energy vehicle production.
