Roper Technologies reports Q3 revenue growth and $3B buyback program

Roper Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: ROP) reported third-quarter revenue of $2.02 billion, representing a 14% increase from the prior-year period, according to a company statement. The Sarasota-based technology company attributed 8% of the growth to acquisitions and 6% to organic revenue expansion.
The company posted adjusted earnings per share of $5.14, an 11% increase compared to the same quarter last year. GAAP net earnings rose 8% to $398 million, while adjusted EBITDA grew 13% to $810 million. Operating cash flow increased 15% to $870 million, and free cash flow expanded 17% to $842 million.
Roper's board of directors authorized a new share repurchase program allowing the company to buy back up to $3 billion of its common stock. The repurchases may be conducted through open-market purchases or privately negotiated transactions, subject to market conditions and other factors. The program carries no obligation to purchase any specific amount of shares and may be suspended at the company's discretion.
For the full year 2025, Roper adjusted its diluted earnings per share guidance to a range of $19.90 to $19.95, compared to the previous range of $19.90 to $20.05. The company expects total revenue growth of approximately 13% and organic revenue growth of about 6% for the full year. Fourth-quarter adjusted earnings per share are projected between $5.11 and $5.16.
During the quarter, Roper deployed $1.3 billion toward acquisitions, including Subsplash and several smaller transactions. The company completed acquisitions of Convoy and Orchard Software, which is being integrated into its Clinisys laboratory software business.
