JPXI adds share buyback data to financial service platform
JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. (JPXI) added share buyback information datasets to its J-Quants Pro data distribution service. The company also expanded its earnings announcement data to include estimated announcement times.
The new share buyback datasets cover all Japanese domestic listed companies and include historical data for analysis. The offering consists of three components: Share Buyback Information from TDnet, which provides information on buyback resolutions and status following company disclosures; Share Buyback Information from EDINET, which updates every 15 minutes on buyback status; and Off-Auction Share Buyback data from ToSTNeT-3.
JPXI expanded its earnings announcement dataset to include estimated announcement times using a proprietary model. The dataset, now renamed "Earnings Announcement Dates & Times," also includes trading session classifications. The company plans to add historical data and revise pricing for this expanded dataset.
The company added cashflow statements to its "Financial Summary/Statements (BS/PL/CF)" dataset starting in October.
J-Quants Pro provides Japanese financial market data to corporate users through API, SFTP, and Snowflake platforms. JPXI, established as a subsidiary of Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (TOKYO: 8697) in 2022, serves as the consolidated provider of JPX Group's data and index services.
The information is based on a company press release.
