HomeTrust Bancshares completes share buyback, approves new 5% program

HomeTrust Bancshares, Inc. (NYSE: HTB) announced the completion of its 5% stock repurchase program that began in December 2025, with a total of 870,000 shares repurchased at an average price of $44.49 per share.
The company's board of directors has authorized a new repurchase program covering up to 832,000 shares of common stock, also representing approximately 5% of currently outstanding shares. Shares may be purchased in the open market or through privately negotiated transactions, subject to market conditions and other factors.
HomeTrust Bancshares is the holding company for HomeTrust Bank, a state-chartered community bank headquartered in Asheville, North Carolina, with total assets of $4.4 billion as of June 30, 2026.
