Empery Digital repurchases over 1.6 million shares, secures $75M credit line
Empery Digital Inc. (NASDAQ: EMPD) has repurchased 1,626,007 shares of its common stock under its $100 million share repurchase program as of September 5, 2025, according to a company statement.
The company purchased the shares at an average price of $7.23 per share, including fees and commissions. The repurchases represent the maximum number of shares permitted under applicable securities laws since August 18, 2025. Approximately $88 million remains available for future repurchases under the existing program.
Empery Digital also entered into an uncommitted revolving credit agreement with Galaxy Digital LLC for up to $75 million in additional potential funding. This agreement supplements a previously announced $25 million committed borrowing facility, of which $13 million has been drawn.
The company stated that management remains committed to increasing bitcoin per share through share repurchases at prices below net asset value. Empery Digital adopted a bitcoin treasury strategy on July 17, 2025, with the goal of becoming an aggregator of bitcoin.
The company was formerly known as Volcon and operates as an electric power sports company through its Empery Mobility brand. The business focuses on electric vehicles for outdoor recreational use.
