Aeries Technology authorizes $5 million share buyback program
Aeries Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AERT) announced that its board of directors has authorized a share repurchase program of up to $5 million of the company's outstanding Class A ordinary shares over a twelve-month period.
The authorization allows the company to repurchase shares from time to time at prices and amounts management deems appropriate. The company may use various methods including open market purchases, private negotiated transactions, accelerated share repurchase programs or other legally permissible means.
The program does not obligate Aeries Technology to repurchase any specific amount of shares and may be suspended, modified, or discontinued at any time. According to the company's statement, the authorization reflects the board's confidence in the company's strategy and operating trajectory.
