This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Openwave Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: OPWV) high of $2.90. Earlier, Openwave said it signed a definitive agreement to sell its Mediation and Messaging product businesses to Marlin Equity Partners. Openwave moved about 12 percent to the new high.

  • Vringo (Nasdaq: VRNG) high of $4.51. Vringo up over 48 percent Monday following disclosure late Friday that billionaire Mark Cuban holds a 7.44 percent stake in the company.

  • Seagate Technology PLC (Nasdaq: STX) high of $29.00. Seagate moving higher on a bullish Barron's article issued over the weekend. The report has Seagate holding a dominant position in a transforming industry as well as delivering more value to shareholders via buybacks and dividends.

  • 3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) high of $27.55. 3D Systems moving as traders may be buying ahead of the CEO's keynote speech at SPAR International 2012. The event is being held April 15-18, 2012 at The Woodlands, in Houston, Texas.
52-Week Low:
  • Pendrell Corp. (Nasdaq: PCO) low of $1.08. Pendrell hit about 50.2 percent after it announced that the Court of Appeal of the State of California, Second District, has overturned the 2008 California Superior Court jury verdict in the litigation between Pendrell’s subsidiary, ICO Global Communications, and The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA).

  • Chesapeake Energy (NYSE: CHK) low of $19.05. Already getting trimmed on falling nat gas prices, Chesapeake moved down about 4.5 percent Monday as Citigroup downgraded the stock from Buy to Neutral.

  • Nokia Corporation (NYSE: NOK) low of $3.90. Nokia started lower on the session Monday following a credit rating call at Moody's. Ahead of the bell, Moody's Investors Service cut the senior debt ratings of Nokia to Baa3 from Baa2 and its short-term debt ratings to Prime-3 from Prime-2. All ratings continue to have a negative outlook. Nokia moved about 3 percent at the start to its new low.
