After-hours movers: Western Union, Whirlpool, Exelixis, and more

After-hours movers:

Western Union (NYSE: WU) fell 2% after it reported second quarter results that missed consensus estimates. The Company’s second-quarter revenue of $1.03 billion decreased 4% on a reported basis.

Whirlpool (NYSE: WHR) fell 10% after reporting disappointing full year guidance. Whirlpool sees FY2025 EPS of $6.00-$8.00, versus the consensus of $9.06.

Exelixis (NASDAQ: EXEL) dropped 7% after it published lackluster guidance. Exelixis sees FY2025 revenue of $2.25-2.35 billion, versus the consensus of $2.341 billion.

Cadence Design Systems (NASDAQ: CDNS) rose 4% after better than expected EPS. Cadence Design Systems reported Q2 EPS of $1.65, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $1.57. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.28 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.26 billion.

Nucor (NYSE: NUE) fell 3.7% after second quarter revenue missed consensus.
