After-Hours Movers 11/12: (AKAM) Higher; (UFPI) (TXI) Lower

Akamai (Nasdaq: AKAM) 10% HIGHER; shares surging sharply after hours as Business Insider reporting Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) may be taking a look at the company.

Universal Forest Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: UFPI) 9.4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.29, $0.08 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.37. Revenue for the quarter came in at $468.94 million versus the consensus estimate of $473.81 million. The company said it won't provide guidance for the foreseeable future amid the challenging economic environment.

Texas Industries, Inc. (NYSE: TXI) 2.4% LOWER; In view of continued uncertainty regarding the timing of a recovery in the construction industry, the Board of Directors of Texas Industries today announced the suspension of its quarterly cash dividend, effective immediately.
