Xyratex, Ltd. (NASDAQ: XRTX) 12.7% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.40, $0.14 better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $295.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $316.5 million. Xyratex, Ltd. sees Q2 2012 EPS of $0.08-$0.35, versus the consensus of $0.35. Boosts quarterly dividend from 6.5 cents to 7.5 cents. Raised its quarterly dividend from $0.065 to $0.075.
FriendFinder Networks Inc (NASDAQ: FFN) 8% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.42) vs, consensus estimate of $0.50. Revenue for the quarter came in at $81.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $83.13 million. FriendFinder Networks Inc sees FY2012 revenue of $340-$350 million, versus the consensus of $329.25 million.
Central Pacific Financial Corp. (NYSE: CPF) 4.7% LOWER; announced that the United States Department of the Treasury plans to offer 2,770,117 shares of the Company's common stock it currently holds in an underwritten public offering. Treasury originally acquired 5,620,117 shares of the Company's common stock on February 18, 2011 as part of the Company's recapitalization in exchange for 135,000 shares of Fixed Rate Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, no par value per share and liquidation preference $1,000 per share, previously held by Treasury, and accrued and unpaid dividends thereon.
Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ: RIMM) 2.9% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.80, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.82. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.55 billion. The company will explore strategic alternatives. Says Q1 revs will show sequential decrease. Comments are coming from the company's quarterly call. RIM said its sub base won't grow at the same rate as FY12. Gross margins will face ongoing pressure and there will also be downward pressure on operating margins through the year.
Collective Brands (NYSE: PSS) 2% HIGHER; shares are making another after-hours run higher Thursday as Bloomberg is reporting the company is expecting bids in the $20-$22 per share range.
