SINOVAC Biotech Ltd. (NASDAQ: SVA) announced it has begun distributing a previously declared $55.00 per common share special cash dividend to shareholders who owned shares as of July 7, 2025.
The company confirmed that valid shareholders were identified on July 8, 2025, through its Paying Agent and Transfer Agent. Record holders listed on the Transfer Agent's share register will receive dividend checks via FedEx or UPS on July 9, 2025, for overnight delivery if the payment amount is under $100 million. Shareholders receiving $100 million or more will receive payment via wire transfer.
For shareholders whose shares are held through brokers, the brokers must complete and submit a broker letter to the Paying Agent before dividend payments can be processed. The company stated that brokers who have already provided the required documentation will receive wire transfers starting July 9, 2025. Beneficial owner accounts are typically credited the same day the broker receives the wire, though it may take until the next business day if the wire arrives late.
The board indicated it will continue to prioritize dividend distributions according to its previously announced policy. D.F. King & Co., Inc. serves as the Dividend Information Agent for shareholders with questions about the payment process.
SINOVAC is a China-based biopharmaceutical company focused on vaccine research, development, manufacturing and commercialization for human infectious diseases. The company's product portfolio includes vaccines for COVID-19, hepatitis A, varicella, influenza, and other diseases.
