ATOREST Introduces Dermatologically Tested Bedding for Sensitive Skin
For individuals with eczema, allergies, or sensitive skin, achieving restful sleep is often a challenge. Bedding can play a significant role, as allergens, chemical treatments, and abrasive fabrics frequently contribute to irritation. Recognizing this, ATOREST™, a bedding brand developed in South Korea, has introduced a textile solution designed specifically to reduce skin discomfort during rest.

Bedding and Skin Sensitivity
People spend nearly one-third of their lives in bed, making bedding a critical factor in skin health. For children and adults with heightened sensitivity, extended exposure to unsuitable materials can lead to disrupted sleep, inflammation, or worsening of skin conditions.
The EirFill™ Material
At the core of ATOREST™ products is EirFill™, a hypoallergenic fabric engineered for sensitive skin. The material is designed to minimize friction, block dust mites and airborne allergens, and remain free from fluorescent brighteners and fragrances. It is machine-washable and dryer-safe while retaining its softness, making it suitable for everyday use.
EirFill™ has undergone dermatological testing and received the Dermatest® Excellent Seal in Germany. This certification, regarded as one of the most rigorous for skin-contact products in Europe, confirms the fabric’s non-irritating qualities and its suitability for sensitive skin, including that of children and infants.
Development and Design
“ATOREST™ was developed for individuals often overlooked by mainstream bedding options,” said Euykyoung Sa, lead product developer. “Our goal was to create a fabric that supports comfort while reducing potential skin triggers.”
Unlike conventional microfiber fabrics, EirFill™ is woven with a dense yet breathable structure. This design balances softness with skin-friendly properties, providing an option for those with heightened dermatological needs.
About ATOREST™
