Item 8.01

Other Events.

On August 4, 2022, Vir Biotechnology, Inc. (the “Company”) provided an update on the timing for the release of its corporate update and financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 (the “Q2 Release”). The Company plans to issue the Q2 Release on August 9, 2022, after market close, in order to provide time for the Company to finalize its financial results.

The delay in the Q2 Release is not expected to have any impact on the Company’s filing of its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 with the Securities and Exchange Commission on or before its scheduled due date of August 9, 2022.
