Item 8.01 Other Events.

On November 19, 2015, the Board of Directors of the Company approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.02 per share on the common stock of the Company, payable on December 18, 2015. The dividend shall be payable to stockholders of record at the close of business on December 4, 2015. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

Universal Technical Institute Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend


SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. - November 20, 2015 - Universal Technical Institute, Inc. (NYSE: UTI), the leading provider of automotive technician training, announced today that its board of directors approved a quarterly cash dividend on UTI common stock. A cash dividend of $0.02 per share, payable on December 18, 2015, will be paid to common stockholders of record as of December 4, 2015.
