Item 7.01.  Regulation FD Disclosure.  

On October 9, 2017, Liberty Broadband Corporation (the “Company”) announced that interested shareholders and analysts are invited to participate in a brief quarterly Q&A session following the completion of the prepared remarks on Liberty Media Corporation’s (“LMC”) third quarter earnings conference call. During this Q&A session management will be accepting questions regarding both LMC and the Company. President and Chief Executive Officer, Greg Maffei, will host the conference call on Thursday,  November  9th, at 12:15 p.m. (E.S.T.). During the call, Mr. Maffei may discuss the financial performance and outlook of both companies, as well as other forward looking matters.

This Current Report on Form 8-K and the press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 are being furnished to the Securities and Exchange Commission under Item 7.01 of Form 8-K in satisfaction of the public disclosure requirements of Regulation FD and shall not be deemed "filed" for any purpose.

Liberty Broadband Corporation to Conduct Quarterly Q&A Conference Call

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Liberty Broadband Corporation (Nasdaq: LBRDA,  LBRDK) announced that interested shareholders and analysts are invited to participate in a brief quarterly Q&A session following the completion of the prepared remarks on Liberty Media Corporation’s third quarter earnings conference call.  During this Q&A session, management will be accepting questions regarding both Liberty Media Corporation and Liberty Broadband Corporation.  President and Chief Executive Officer, Greg Maffei, will host the conference call on Thursday,  November 9th, at 12:15 p.m. (E.S.T.).  During the call, Mr. Maffei may discuss the financial performance and outlook of both companies, as well as other forward looking matters.
