Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On March 9, 2021, Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (the “Company”) mutually agreed with Michael T. Broderick, Executive Vice President, Merchandising and Store Operations Support, that the Company will accept his resignation for good reason and his employment with the Company will terminate, effective March 27, 2021. Mr. Broderick will receive severance in accordance with the terms of his employment agreement with the Company. The Company thanks Mr. Broderick for his service.
Effective March 15, 2021, Jason B. McDonell, Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of the Company, will serve as the Company’s Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Marketing and e-commerce, and Michael C. Creedon, Jr., President, U.S. Stores, has been promoted to serve as Executive Vice President, U.S. Stores.
