Petrobras clarifies pieces of news in the media

—

Rio de Janeiro, August 28, 2023 - Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras, regarding the pieces of news published in the media, reiterates that there is no decision by the competent bodies in the company to acquire any stake in the fuel distribution market or to enter that market.

The company also clarifies that any acquisitions must, within the governance established at Petrobras, go through the planning and approval processes provided for in the applicable systems, with their technical and economic viability demonstrated.
