Although the Government Money Market
Portfolio seeks to preserve its value at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in the
Government Money Market
Portfolio. An investment in a money
market portfolio is neither insured nor guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any government agency. During extended periods of low interest rates, the yield
of a money market portfolio may also become extremely low and possibly negative.
