Zynga (Nasdaq: ZNGA) shares are trending Monday afternoon following reports out of TechCrunch which suggest the company has purchased video game developer Buzz Monkey. While the source didn't give a specific price, the acquisition was said to be immaterial.
The purchase would add approximately 50 employees to Zynga's workforce.
The stock is still down sharply Monday, however is well off session lows. Shares last traded at $5.85, down about 2.7 percent from Friday's closing price.
