Shares of Tiffany & Co. (NYSE: TIF) are moving higher in pre-open trading following reports from overseas that Cartier owner Richemont could seek to buy the luxury retailer for $130 per share.
The London Evening Standard said if Richemont is successful in buying Tiffany it would look to sell the watch arm.
Shares of Tiffany last traded at $74.99, up 3% from yesterday's close.
