Worker injured in explosion at Venezuela gas facility dies
May 19 (Reuters) - One of the workers injured in a large explosion and fire at a gas processing facility in Venezuela's Lake Maracaibo on Friday died on Tuesday, according to five sources familiar with the matter.
The worker died in the morning at a hospital in Maracaibo, the capital of the oil-rich state of Zulia, the sources said.
The fire injured six workers and caused damage to the plant. State-run oil company PDVSA and the Ministry of Information didn't immediately respond to a request for comment regarding the deceased worker.
